Senior Software Engineer

STR is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to work on a multi-disciplinary team that transforms large and complex customer data into real-world solutions. The role involves designing and implementing solutions to challenging national security problems, building software infrastructure, and deploying algorithms.

Requirements

• Ability to obtain a Top Secret (TS) Security Clearance
• Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of applicable experience
• Object oriented programming skills in C/C++
• Proficiency in MATLAB and/or Python as well as other higher-level languages
• Math and algorithm skills
• Experience using source code management (Git, Subversion)
• Proficiency in multithreaded programming, thread safety, and thread synchronization
