Role Overview

Cedarwood Primary School is seeking a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to work as part of their successful school team. The role involves delivering learning across the primary age range, covering classes in the absence of the class teacher, and supporting pupils to achieve excellent outcomes.

Requirements

• Recent experience working within a primary school setting
• Experience of covering classes across the primary age range
• Relevant training in teaching and learning, SEND, behaviour support, safeguarding, or intervention programmes
• Strong understanding of the primary curriculum and age-related expectations
• Experience of supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities
• HLTA Status or a recognised HLTA qualification is desirable
