Teaching Assistant

Role Overview

Barningham CEVC Primary School is seeking a motivated, caring, and creative Teaching Assistant to join their team. The role involves supporting pupils across two classrooms from EYFS to Year 3, working closely with class teachers to provide high-quality support for learning. A significant aspect of the role will involve supporting pupils with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).

What You Will Do

Support pupils across two classrooms from EYFS to Year 3, working closely with class teachers to provide high-quality support for learning. Support pupils with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), including within the classroom, in small groups, and on a 1-to-1 basis.

Requirements

• Full and relevant Level 3 qualification
• HLTA status
• Experience of working with pupils with additional learning needs
• Positive impact within a classroom

Benefits

• Salary: £25,185 - £28,142 pro rata
• Part-time hours: 18.5 hours per week, Monday – Wednesday, 8.40am – 3.20pm (term time only)
• Permanent contract
