Job Description
Sun Chemical is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to oversee upkeep and sustaining of industrial machinery and infrastructure. The role involves preventative maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting, supporting a 24/7 production facility and includes tasks such as pump rebuilding, sheet metal fabrication, pipefitting, refrigeration maintenance, and steam system operation. The company is a subsidiary of DIC Group, focused on sustainable solutions.
Requirements
- Complete millwright activities to include construction, installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of stationary industrial machinery.
- Sheet metal and construction fabrication work to include cutting, welding, and forming of sheet metal.
- Refrigeration maintenance activities including operation, installation, maintenance, and replacement of ammonia compressors.
- Be able to lift, push, and pull at least 50 pounds.
- Adhere to all safety and work procedures.
- Respirator qualified.
