Job Description
We are introducing a new role: Primer and Coating Application Specialist – EMEA, a technical support position focused on deploying primer and coating strategies for HP Indigo customers, with scope to support other digital printing technologies.
Requirements
- Facilitate and manage HP Indigo primer conversions at customer sites and remotely.
- Act as the technical go-to person within EMEA for HP Indigo matters, including troubleshooting and product recommendations.
- Support new product introductions and identify gaps in current offerings.
- Define optimum press parameters and media profiling; document best practices for primers and coatings.
- Train local CTS champions to support primer conversions and HP Indigo customers.
- Manage trial activities for new business opportunities.
- Make product selection decisions based on end-use applications.
- Coordinate with internal teams to provide fitness-for-use guidance and defend against customer claims.
- Participate in strategic technical meetings and process improvement initiatives.
- Report all field activity in Salesforce and complete technical documentation.
