Job Description
Sun River Health is seeking a full-time Certified Alcohol and Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC) to join their Bay Street site in Staten Island, NY. This role provides comprehensive assessment services to clients with substance abuse barriers to employment, utilizing clinical judgment to determine appropriate treatment needs. Responsibilities include group counseling, clinical intervention, and referral to other services. Sun River Health is a Federally Qualified, Non-Profit Health Center serving diverse communities.
Requirements
- Valid Full OASAS CASAC certification (completion of 350 hours).
- Minimum High School Equivalency
- 3-5 years of experience in an OASAS program
- 12 months of work-related experience
- 200-250 characters total for job description
