Job Description
We're seeking a Commercial Credit Underwriter I to gather, analyze, and interpret financial and credit information to assess creditworthiness of commercial customers. The position assists Commercial Bankers in supporting new and existing loan relationships, focusing on maximizing credit quality and minimizing risk.
Requirements
- Gather, analyze, and interpret financial and credit information
- Determine creditworthiness of borrowers and guarantors
- Prepare detailed financial and analytical reports
- Research industry and market information
- Assess overall strengths and weaknesses of credit relationships
- Communicate key analytical findings and opinions
- Monitor assigned credit files for periodic financial statements and borrowing base certificates
- Participate in departmental or company-wide projects
- Remain educated and informed about industry trends and regulatory requirements
