Senior Full Stack Engineer GIS / AI

Role Overview

Join our fully remote team working across three countries, bringing together a diverse group of experts with extensive experience in climate change, mapping science, Earth Observation Technologies, green finance, and advanced technology. As a part of SurplusMap, you'll be collaborating with a senior team committed to driving impactful change.

What You Will Do

Develop our web application, enhance our collaboration platform, prototype machine learning algorithms, and architect and develop highly scalable web applications that handle complex data infrastructures and AI models.

Requirements

• Excellent written and spoken English skills
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript, GCP, and React
• Experience in programming complex systems from scratch and writing maintainable, scalable code
• Ability to work with AI models, machine learning predictions, and complex data infrastructures
• Experience with geospatial data processing and leveraging large language models (LLMs)
• Thorough testing skills and a commitment to improving the work environment
