Senior Java Developer

Role Overview

What You Will Do

Develop and maintain production-grade systems using Java/J2EE, design and build RESTful APIs and web services, and work with cloud environments, relational databases, and distributed systems.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of hands-on experience developing and maintaining production-grade systems using Java/J2EE
• Deep expertise in Spring Framework (Spring Boot) and Hibernate/JPA
• Strong experience designing, building, and maintaining RESTful APIs and web services
• Solid hands-on experience with cloud (GCP, AWS, Azure)
• Practical experience working with relational databases such as MySQL, Oracle, or similar
• Good understanding of cloud-native architectures and distributed systems
• Familiarity with event-driven and data-processing technologies such as Kafka and/or Spark
• Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and modern build tools
• Ability to work effectively with unclear or evolving requirements
• Strong problem-solving skills and confidence navigating complex systems and technical challenges
• Proven ability to collaborate closely with cross-functional teams
• Excellent communication skills
• Adaptable mindset and comfort working in fast-changing, dynamic environments
• Fluent in English and Swedish
