Join Symetra as a Regional Sales Executive in the Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia market to sell Workforce Benefits (Group Life, Disability, and Voluntary products) insurance products. Develop relationships with brokers, agents, and consultants, and travel is required.
Requirements
- High school diploma required.
- College degree or equivalent work experience required.
- 3+ years' experience selling Life and Disability Voluntary Benefits insurance products with strong knowledge of the Life and DI market and products.
- Must have solid relationships with key brokers, agents, and consultants in your territory.
- Ability to travel and reside in the states that make up your territory.
- Keen listening and business planning skills.
- Solid time management skills.
- Ability to prioritize activities in support of achieving your sales goals.
- Strong contact management strategies.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated understanding of risk and pricing dynamics of Group Life and Disability Insurance.
- Strong negotiation skills and demonstrated ability to create mutually beneficial outcomes.
