Electrical Engineering Intern

Role Overview

The Electrical Engineering Intern will assist electrical engineers in the realization of the group's electrical projects, involving design and integration of power systems, data acquisition, control, etc. This internship is offered for the fall of 2026.

What You Will Do

Create electrical diagrams, analyze and design electrical circuits, list cable elements, establish a list of materials, evaluate and select electrical or electronic components, develop installation and testing procedures, and perform on-site and workshop follow-ups.

Must be organized, self-disciplined, and motivated, with excellent oral and written communication skills in French and English, and a desire to acquire and apply new knowledge.

Requirements

• Studies in electrical engineering
• Good knowledge of electrical design software (See Electrical, AutoCAD Electrical, ePLAN)
• Knowledge of electrical components (motors, circuit breakers, relays, frequency converters, etc.)
• Ability to communicate in English and French (written and oral)
• Master of the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Experience in the railway or transportation sector is an asset
