Role Overview

We are searching for an experienced Engineering Manager with a passion for technology and a proven ability to lead high-performing engineering teams. This is a fully onsite role based in Cairo, Egypt. As an Engineering Manager, you will lead our Mobile, Backend, and Web engineering squads, playing a critical role in shaping the future of our products and services.

Lead, mentor, and empower multidisciplinary engineering teams focused on Mobile, Backend, and Web development, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, accountability, and execution. Develop and execute strategic engineering plans aligned with company objectives and business priorities.

Requirements

• Extensive experience managing cross-functional remote and in-house engineering teams
• Strong technical background with 5+ years of experience working with Java/Kotlin or TypeScript-based systems
• Solid understanding of software architecture and scalable system design
• Proven track record of leading large-scale software development projects (e-commerce experience is a plus)
• Experience leading teams building highly available microservices-based products
• Experience with DevOps practices and engineering operational excellence
• Strong experience with Git and software development best practices
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
