Job Description
The Future Opening: Security Academy Training Director is responsible for the overall leadership, management, and operational success of the Tact Tech Training Academy. This role oversees all training programs, instructors, compliance, and student services, ensuring the academy delivers the highest standard of professional security, firearms, medical, and specialty training. The Director serves as the academy's face, building relationships with partners and managing budgets, enforcing policies, and developing innovative programs.
Requirements
- Provide strategic leadership and direction for all academy programs.
- Oversee design, delivery, and evaluation of training courses (Florida Class D, G, K, CCW, Active Shooter Response, SRO/Safe Schools Officer, EMT/medical, CPR/BLS, and others).
- Maintain academy licensing, instructor certifications, and state-mandated requirements.
- Ensure compliance with FDACS and other relevant authorities.
- Manage scheduling, instructor assignments, and classroom resources.
