KDB Developer

Talan is hiring for a Mid Level KDB Developer to support a leading FX eTrading team with it’s ongoing evolution of its electronic FX technology platform. The role sits within a highly collaborative team focused on pricing, risk management, and MIS-style reporting for the FX electronic trading desk and wider sales organisation.

Requirements

• Partner closely with FX Front Office stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver analytics and solutions that support MIS reporting, pricing and trading algorithms, and ultimately drive P&L.
• Rapidly prototype and deliver solutions in a fast-paced, agile environment with competing Front Office demands.
• Perform detailed analysis and manipulation of large-scale, high-frequency data sets in low-latency environments.
• Provide technical design, architecture, and infrastructure expertise to support the continued expansion of the KDB+ platform.
• Contribute across the full software delivery lifecycle, including design documentation, functional specifications, development, unit testing, and component builds.
• Provide technical assistance and 3rd-line production support to internal KDB+ Production Support teams.
• Participate in software releases, which may occasionally take place outside of normal business hours or at weekends.
• Actively participate in sprint planning, estimation, and delivery tracking, providing regular status updates to project managers.
