Crew Leader - Extrusion

We are seeking a Crew Leader - Extrusion to administer and maintain safety policies, ensure first quality for all processes, and perform line readings to ensure machine set-up is correct. The ideal candidate will have leadership abilities, be able to read and write, and prioritize daily tasks in accordance with schedule needs.

Requirements

• Administer and maintain safety policies and standards
• Ensure first quality for all processes
• Perform and maintain required line readings to ensure machine set-up is correct
• Fill in for extrusion operators
• Train and coach job specifics to extrusion operators
• Ensure all operators have necessary tools and supplies
• Complete production reports
• Be familiar with current schedule and prepare for/perform product changeovers
• Communicate with oncoming/outgoing shift's Extrusion crew leaders
• Must be able to work overtime when needed on short notice
• Ability to keep work areas clean and safe
• Comply with all safety policies, practices, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
