Senior Backend Engineer

Role Overview

We're looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to help modernize core systems, collaborate cross-functionally, and pave the way for future advancements like microservices and real-time data streaming.

What You Will Do

Design, build, and optimize backend services using Java and SQL in an enterprise environment, investigate and solve performance bottlenecks, and work on high-volume transactional systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 7+ years of hands-on backend software development experience in object-oriented design, and enterprise application development (Java preferred)
• Deep knowledge of backend development, scalable system design, and SQL-based data stores
• Understanding of performance profiling, debugging, and enterprise-scale system architecture
• Familiarity with software design patterns and CI/CD practices
• Experience working closely with QA and Systems teams to ship reliable software
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
