Bar Back/Bartender Assistant

The Garden Room team is seeking dynamic Bar Backs to join their team and contribute to a vibrant, botanical-ambience dining experience. The Bar Back will be responsible for providing excellent guest service, maintaining the bar and restaurant, and ensuring a memorable visit. They are looking for individuals passionate about hospitality and committed to exceptional service.

Requirements

• Maintain proper grooming and uniform standards
• Deliver genuine hospitality to and establish emotional connections with our guests
• Contribute to the overall teamwork and success of the restaurant
• Communicate effectively with guests and team members
• Presents the best we have to offer, never selling the guest anything
• Determine guests needs while making the appropriate recommendations and offerings to enhance the dining experience
• Restock liquor, beer, and wine throughout shift
• Clean the bar area ensuring it is constantly organized
• Empty the trash throughout the shift
• Stock sanitizer bucket and change at a minimum every two hours or earlier when necessary
• Polish silverware and glassware
• Execute beverage tray service
• Adhere to all alcohol awareness procedures
• Handle guest complaints professionally
• Process payments and handle cash professionally
• Follow up with guests about their meal and dining experience
• Maintain a high level of cleanliness and sanitation
• Perform all opening, running, and closing duties accurately
