Join TC Energy's USGO Great Lakes Area team as an Electrical, Instrumentation, & Controls Technician. This role involves troubleshooting, maintaining, and operating natural gas measurement equipment, compressor station control systems, and other related facilities. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with excellent problem-solving, communication, and decision-making skills.
Install, commission, test, repair, and maintain compressor station, meter station, communication systems, and other facilities related to the pipeline system. Perform routine and major maintenance on natural gas driven compressor units and associated auxiliary equipment.
This position requires a thorough understanding of stop work authority (SWA) and safe work practices, as well as knowledge of lock out/tag out (LOTO) procedures. The ideal candidate will have experience with Allen Bradley and/or Bristol controls, various types of gas measurement testing equipment, and PLC's, pneumatic and electronic valves, transmitters, switches, and regulators.
