Job Description: Apply now for a Lead/Sr Simulation Engineer position at TE. Execute complex simulations to optimize design and manufacturing, and develop more sophisticated simulation methods. Requirements
- 8-10 years of industry experience
- Knowledge on Non-Linear structural, dynamics, thermal & electrothermal analysis
- Knowledge on material science (Metals, Plastics & hyper elastic material)
- Correlation of Test and simulation data / results
- Validate concept designs using simulation techniques and determine design robustness
- Position will perform analysis of electrical connector systems in response to requests from Engineering and Sales functions
- Deploy FEA Techniques – implicit and explicit approach, using Software tools like Ansys
- Translate actual problem to Finite Element Analysis (FEA) model, interpret analysis results and select best solution
- Monitor and evaluate simulation software capabilities and industry trends
- Deploy standardized process and work methodology
- Train and develop capability of the team to be a multi-skilled resource pool
- Benchmark implement productivity improvement methods
- Track monitor metrics for sustained performance covering quality & delivery
- Collaborate with design & validation teams to enhance the design optimization
