Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Planning Engineer to join the dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing detailed project plans and schedules for our oil and gas projects.
Requirements
- Create and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6 or other planning software
- Develop detailed work breakdown structures (WBS) and project execution plans
- Monitor project progress and identify potential delays or issues
- Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure project milestones are met
- Analyze project data and provide regular progress reports to management
- Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation plans
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, standards, and regulations
- Participate in project meetings and provide input on project planning and scheduling
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices
- Train and mentor junior planning engineers as needed
