Machine Operator I-2nd Shift

Assemble quality tire repairs (patches) from pieces of rubber and fabric by machine and/or by hand. Operate machinery and perform various tasks related to tire repair production.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred and a minimum of one-year prior work experience
• Able to read limited number of two-and-three syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers
• Ability to print and speak simple sentences
• Able to add and subtract and do simple division and multiplication
• Reasoning Ability: Able to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one-or-two step instructions
