A Consultant provides quality consulting services to clients on engagements to which they are assigned. They serve on an engagement as an individual contributor or in a staff augmentation role, typically in an operational or project setting.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in healthcare, business, IT, or computer science or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Role-focused certification
- EHR certifications (e.g. Epic Cogito)
- Data visualization tool certifications (e.g. Power BI, Tableau)
- Vendor tool certifications (e.g. Microsoft)
- Typically 4+ years' experience in healthcare or healthcare IT, serving in the consulting or professional service industry, and area of focus (e.g., EHR, project management, product, technical skills)
- 6+ years of professional experience delivering project or program enhancements within a healthcare organization, payer, or healthcare consulting practice
