Job Description
Punch Press Operator for 1st shift (8:00 am - 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday) responsible for safely operating punch press equipment to manufacture plastic discs and gaskets. Operates punch press equipment, follows standard methods and techniques, and monitors machine performance to ensure product meets SQF Food Safety and Quality Codes, product specifications, and customer requirements.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of previous experience operating punch presses or similar manufacturing machinery
- Ability to read and follow work orders, and use measuring tools (micrometer, caliper, etc.)
- Mechanical aptitude and hands-on skills with basic tools
- Strong attention to detail, patience, and observation
- Basic math and computer skills
- Ability to use industrial barcode scanners
- Physical ability to lift/move materials (up to 50 lbs.), standing for long periods, and perform repetitive motions
