Job description
We are seeking a Cable Technician to join our team supporting DISA JSP ETM in Arlington, VA. The Cable Technician will analyze, administer, and maintain telecommunications and network cabling infrastructure. The role requires experience with BICSI rules, regulations, and standards, as well as knowledge of network cabling test equipment.
The Cable Technician will conduct regular audits and quality checks to ensure accuracy and completeness of network assets and configurations. They will also test, locate, install, and repair cabling infrastructure associated with trouble calls, and perform routine maintenance.
The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of experience and hold Data Cabling Installer (DCI) and Fiber Optics Installer (FOIC) certifications. They must also possess a Secret clearance.
