Job Description
Teledyne Technologies Incorporated is seeking a Cognos Administrator to manage, configure, develop, and maintain our IBM Cognos BI/Analytics environment. The successful candidate will have 5 or more years of experience and a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Requirements
- Formulates and defines system scope and objectives
- Devises or modifies application systems and procedures
- Designs, codes, tests, debugs, and documents reports, programs, subroutines, and scripts
- Maintains technical skill set for software languages, databases, platforms, operating systems, utilities and networks
- Supports maintenance, patching, upgrade and overall health of Cognos Analytics
- Develops and implements program/system test plans
- Devises data verification methods and standard system procedures
