Job Description
Assists physicians in invasive diagnostic and interventional procedures in a cardiac catheterization, electrophysiology, and special procedures laboratories. Prepares patients for procedures and monitors patient status. Maintains equipment, supply inventory, and medical inventory.
Requirements
- Associate's degree in Science with a major in Cardiovascular Technology or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum one year of experience in a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory, Special Procedures, Operating Room, or Endoscopy.
- Registration or Registry Eligible with the National Board for Cardiovascular Testing preferred.
- BCLS and ACLS Certification.
