Job Description
The Assistant General Counsel will provide legal advice and representation to the Texas Medical Association (TMA) and its affiliates, and assist in the prosecution and defense of lawsuits.
Requirements
- Juris Doctorate degree
- Texas license to practice law
- Several years (3-7) of legal experience, preferably in-house or advising physicians or health care professionals
- Prior health law experience or LL.M. in health law preferred
- Prior experience in legislative advocacy and/or drafting preferred
