Nuclear Hardness & Survivability Engineer III/IV

The Nuclear Hardness and Survivability Engineer III/IV will support the analysis of flight vehicles and their ability to withstand nuclear effects in the Strategic Missiles Business Line. The role requires existing knowledge in the area and a strong interest in additional on the job learning.

Requirements

• Perform radiation hardening analysis for component (WCCA, PBO, SGEMP, MCNP etc.)
• Conduct shielding effectiveness analysis for enclosures
• Develop testing and qualification plans for systems
• Develop test procedures, oversee tests and write test reports
• Summarize results and design application techniques during the above activities via presentations and design analysis reports
