
Job description
The Aerospace Corporation is seeking a talented Aerodynamic Environments Engineer to work with internal and external customers on aerodynamic and fluid mechanics topics. The selected candidate will be part of the Vehicle Systems Division, which provides national expertise in various areas of vehicle engineering.
Conduct analyses, modeling, planning, and reviewing functions associated with aerodynamic environments of space, launch, and reentry vehicles. Analyze and assess steady and transient internal and external flows ranging from subsonic to hypersonic regimes.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in aerospace, aeronautical, or mechanical engineering, with experience in computational fluid dynamics (CFD) techniques and coursework in aerodynamics and fluid mechanics.
