Enterprise Modeling Engineering Specialist

The Aerospace Corporation is seeking an Enterprise Modeling Engineering Specialist to join their team. The position involves advancing software solutions for modeling and simulation applications, leveraging modern tech stack, and working with cross-mission focused program offices and customers to translate their program needs into modeling, simulation, and analysis tasks.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree from an accredited program in computer science, electrical engineering, optical engineering, physics, mathematics, or related field
• Three or more years of experience in modern software development using a systems software language
• Proficiency in C++, preferably in C++20
• Experience with Python
• Experience in modeling and simulation
• Ability to work both independently and cooperatively within a team and manage multiple simultaneous tasks
• Familiar with software development cycles and working with repos (git, bitbucket, etc.)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• A bias for action and the ability to identify shortcomings and address them with initiative
