Surety Underwriting Associate

The Hanover is seeking a Surety Underwriting Associate to join their growing team within the Central/West time zones. The role involves supporting various underwriting functions, policy servicing, and responding to agent inquiries. The ideal candidate will have an Associate's Degree or equivalent, 1-2+ years of Commercial Lines, Specialty, or Surety experience, and strong analytical and organizational skills.

Requirements

• Associate’s Degree or equivalent
• 1-2+ years of Commercial Lines, Specialty, or Surety experience
• Strong foundation in financial statements preferred
• Fundamental underwriting, practices, procedures, workflows, systems & tools knowledge
• Robust functional knowledge of product offerings and solid business acumen
• Strong analytical skills, organizational and time management skills
• Strong attention to detail, prioritization, multitasking, and deadlines
• Ability to work cross-functionally
