Parent Advocate

The Jewish Board is seeking a Family Peer Advocate to provide treatment and support services to families and children with significant behavioral health needs. The role involves providing individualized services, advocacy, and education to families and collaborating with other service providers.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalency
• Certified Family Peer Advocate Certificate
• Specialty credentialing in advocacy
• Lived experience in parenting a child or adolescent with a serious emotional disturbance
• Bilingual and bicultural
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
