The Director of Finance will be responsible for the day-to-day operations, data entry, grant report entry, ministry reporting, board reporting, managing the organization’s fundraising functions, and budgeting. The Director of Finance will also oversee financial leadership, financial administration, and other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum five (5) years experience working in a not-for-profit in a finance leadership role.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance or Accounting or required field.
- Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation is required.
- Knowledge of government and funder agency structures, procedures and reporting.
- Experience developing fundraising strategies, grant applications and project proposals that provide core program/organization support is an asset.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.
- Highly organized, analytical and detail oriented.
- Excellent time-management skills with the ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast pace, community environment.
