Job Description
The Queen’s Health System is seeking a Cardiothoracic Surgeon to provide perioperative cardiovascular surgical services for patients requiring cardiothoracic procedures. The successful candidate will be part of a multidisciplinary team of board-certified physicians and advanced practice nurse practitioners committed to providing expert diagnosis, treatments, and care for a range of cardiac and vascular conditions.
Requirements
- Surgically evaluates and treats patients who require the services provided by a cardiac surgeon
- Maintains appropriate knowledge and clinical skills in order to keep abreast of new techniques and procedures in the field of Cardiovascular (CV) surgery
- Provides clear instructions and explanations regarding diagnosis, treatment, medications, and follow-up to patients and their respective family members
