Job Description
AHS is seeking a dedicated Physician Assistant to join their patient-centered care team. This role involves providing primary and behavioral health support in various community and facility-based settings, with a focus on geriatric and underserved populations. The ideal candidate will have experience with Managed Care and a commitment to quality care.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
- Current California PA license and NCCPA certification
- DEA license (required)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Managed Care or similar patient populations
- Strong proficiency in EHR medical documentation
- Reliable, communicative, and organized with strong team collaboration skills
- Availability for regular case reviews with clinical leadership
- Compassion for geriatric and mentally ill patients in underserved settings
