Job Description
We are working with a brand new travel startup to hire a Lead Python Engineer. The successful candidate will be responsible for building a fast, scalable, reliable infrastructure to support the business across multiple web properties and mobile devices.
Requirements
- 5+ years of Python programming inside highly scalable, consumer product environments
- 3+ years of cloud development and operations (AWS)
- Experience with frameworks similar to Django, Flask, Spring, etc.
- Experience with network level caching technology such as Redis or Memcached
- Knowledge in Postgres or MySQL schema design and scaling strategies
- Experience with NoSQL technologies such as Cassandra, CouchDB, MongoDB
- A deep understanding of TCP/IP and higher level protocols like HTTP
