Job Description
Weir Canada Inc. is seeking a Microsoft Infrastructure Specialist to work with Windows Server, Directory Services, Azure cloud integration, and related technologies in projects to develop, test, and deliver complex IT solutions for existing and future ships of the Royal Canadian Navy. This is a permanent, full-time, hybrid position based in Halifax, NS, LaSalle, QC, or Victoria, BC.
Requirements
- Ten or more years of relevant IT technical experience
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server Infrastructure and Active Directory
- Experience working with cloud technologies (Azure, AWS) and hybrid on-premise/cloud configurations and migrations
- Experience with automating installations, with focus on Infrastructure as Code (IaC) setups via Microsoft PowerShell, Azure CLI, Python, and/or other scripting tools
- Canadian citizenship, with 10 or more years residing in Canada with no periods longer than six continuous months out of country
