
Job description
The Associate Investment Officer will support the Southern Africa CTA hub in business development and execution of mandates, focusing on public-private partnerships, restructuring, and corporate finance activities. The role involves implementing advisory mandates, supporting business development, interacting with clients, and managing project teams.
The IO will contribute to origination and marketing activities, develop client relationships, prepare commercial presentations, and manage project budgets. They will also lead the day-to-day management of project teams, develop transaction structure options, and participate in meetings with government clients and investors.
The ideal candidate will have relevant experience in investment banking, finance, or a related field, with a strong understanding of infrastructure sectors and private sector participation. They will be able to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects, and develop strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
