Job Description
This Lawn Technician position is responsible for implementing Integrated Pest Management (IPM) techniques to maintain healthy lawns and ornamental plants. The role involves using chemical and cultural control methods to address pests, nutrient deficiencies, and plant damage. Responsibilities include spray rig operation, inspection, treatment, record keeping, and maintaining equipment.
Requirements
- State of Georgia driver’s license
- Pass DOT license
- Ability to obtain a Pesticide Applicator’s License
- Basic math skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to lift 50-lb bags of seed/fertilizer
- Ability to work/walk in all weather conditions
- Ability to read and follow pesticide labels
