Senior Backend Software Engineer, Content E-commerce

TikTok is seeking a Senior Backend Software Engineer, Content E-commerce to join their global team responsible for building the content ecosystem for E-commerce. The role involves developing scalable services for TikTok Shop in the US, integrating with partner APIs, and optimizing the experience for influencers and affiliate partners. The goal is to build a mutually beneficial ecosystem for customers, creators, and merchants, enabling affordable and high-quality products to be easily accessible.

Requirements

• Bachelors or higher degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline
• 5 or more years experience managing highly scalable backend services and systems using at least one of Java/Golang/Python/C++
• Strong software programming capabilities, exhibits good code design and coding style
• In depth knowledge of common databases and messaging frameworks like MySQL/Redis/Kafka etc.
