Software Engineer, TikTok LIVE

The TikTok LIVE Foundation Governance Engineering team is seeking a Software Engineer to ensure the quality of live streaming content. The role involves building backend systems, collaborating with various teams, and developing moderation tools to ensure high-quality and enjoyable content for users worldwide. The ideal candidate will iterate on data-driven product ideas, improve system design, and contribute to a scalable and extensible system.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms
• Proficient in at least one coding language (Go, Java, Python, C++)
• Curiosity towards new technology and outstanding ability to analyze and solve problems
• Good grasp of software engineering principles
• BA/BS Degree in Computer Science or related major (Preferred)
