Head of Accounting (w/m/d)

An experienced Accounting Manager with deep accounting knowledge and enthusiasm for digitalization processes in the financial sector is sought for a Head of Accounting position at a successful and internationally active service company in Vienna. The role involves leading an accounting team, preparing financial statements, and developing digitalization projects.

Requirements

• Completed university degree with specialization in accounting and tax
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in financial accounting of capital companies
• First leadership experience
• Very good knowledge of accounting in accordance with UGB, experience with IFRS or US-GAAP is advantageous
• Knowledge of company or tax law is desirable
• Profound knowledge of all MS-Office programs (especially Excel) and high IT affinity
• Very good German and good English knowledge in writing and speaking
