Our client is seeking a motivated and experienced Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of approximately 350 residential units located in New York City, along with additional properties within the broader metropolitan area. The Property Manager will serve as a key liaison between ownership, residents, vendors, and internal leadership, ensuring properties operate efficiently while maintaining high service standards.
Requirements
- Manage all aspects of property operations including maintenance, financial performance, and resident relations
- Ensure compliance with NYC regulations, Department of Buildings (DOB) requirements, landlord-tenant laws, and lease agreements
- Coordinate property maintenance and repairs, ensuring timely completion and quality standards
- Communicate regularly with investors, ownership, and senior leadership regarding property performance and operational updates
- Develop and implement property policies and procedures to maintain safe and well-maintained living environments
- Handle resident inquiries, concerns, and complaints professionally while working toward timely resolution
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate service contracts for maintenance, landscaping, security, and other services
- Monitor budgets, expenses, and rent collections to support financial performance goals
- Supervise on-site staff and foster a positive, accountable team culture
