Torex Gold is a mid-tier Canadian gold producer seeking a Supervisor Maintenance, Drilling Fleet to lead their team effectively and ensure the Daily/Weekly Maintenance Scheduling Plan is met safely, within budget and timeframe. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical-Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent, 5 years of experience in maintenance of mobile drilling equipment, and 3 years of experience in personnel management and leadership skills.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical-Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- 5 years of experience in maintenance of mobile drilling equipment.
- 3 years of experience in personnel management and leadership skills (desirable).
- Knowledge of low and medium voltage electrical systems, management and mastery of hydraulic, electrical and control diagrams for mobile drilling equipment in mining, mining underground technical language, SMAW, MIG, TIG welding techniques, administrative, planning and execution of maintenance programs based on KPIs, and management of ERP systems (SAP PM).
- Review the fulfillment of the Daily/Weekly Maintenance Scheduling Plan to ensure compliance with established priorities in the Technical Services Plan.
- Ensure that work is coordinated effectively with other departments, disciplines and Contractor Supervisors for the shift, in terms of safety, cycle interference and operational tasks.
- Supervise and verify the execution of Work Orders/Job Cards, ensuring that planned or corrective maintenance is performed safely and on time.
- Analyze information provided by team members, planning and programming in order to implement continuous improvement to increase equipment reliability.
- Promote and apply talent development through experience to team members.
- Carry out necessary administrative tasks, such as Safety Reports, Material Reserves, Discipline Systems, Attendance Control, etc.
