Dir, Privacy Counsel

This Privacy Counsel position is central to ensuring the company's compliance with U.S. privacy laws like CCPA, CPRA, and HIPAA. The role involves developing and implementing privacy policies, negotiating data privacy agreements, advising on privacy issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will be a legal expert with a background in privacy and data protection.

Requirements

• 7 to 10+ years of legal experience in privacy and data protection law
• Hands-on experience advising on U.S. privacy laws (CCPA, CPRA, HIPAA)
• Experience drafting and negotiating data privacy and security provisions
• Excellent contract drafting and negotiation skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Professional integrity and discretion
• Ability to work collaboratively across departments
