Senior Software Engineer (SDLC, GenAI)

Travelers is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our organization as we grow and transform our Technology landscape. The role involves identifying new best practices within the SDLC, creating tools (utilizing various forms of automation including GenAI), and coaching/mentoring PI members across all job families in using these tools and processes.

Requirements

• Five years of programming/development experience
• Experience with Python, React, AWS toolsets (CDK), Terraform, Jenkins
• Experience with JavaScript, TypeScript
• Experience with API Development
• Experience with GitHub
• Experience with AI, GenAI
• Understanding of the SDLC
• Familiarity with AI based tooling
• Understanding of outcome driven product development
• Effective communication skills
• Aptitude and enthusiasm to learn
• Solid technical background
• Understanding and practice of Agile methodologies
• Motivated self-starter
