Job Description
The Electrician III-VIII is responsible for performing general mine electrical work and ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective operations. They will operate forklifts, man lifts, and related vehicles, interpret lockout matrices, inspect and repair electrical equipment, and assist with relocation of equipment. Tri-State delivers reliable, affordable, and responsible power and energy services.
Requirements
- Operates forklifts, man lifts, pick-up trucks and related service vehicles.
- Operates shovels, haul trucks, and related services.
- Interprets lockout matrices for proper equipment isolation.
- Performs monthly MSHA electrical inspections.
- Properly de-energize equipment.
- Repairs all types of electrical equipment.
- Reads and interprets electrical schematics.
- Repairs plan and facility lighting, general electrical equipment and battery back-up systems.
