Job Description
Tri-State is a wholesale power supply cooperative seeking a Journey Level Substation Technician to perform maintenance and repairs on electrical distribution systems. The role involves completing technical assessments, operating machinery, and ensuring safety. This is a temporary position with potential for overtime.
Requirements
- Successful completion of Technical Apprentice Qualification test with a 75% or better score.
- Successful completion of Industrial Electrical and Electromechanical Controls test with a 75% or better score.
- Maintenance of industrial electrical-electromechanical- electronic control equipment experience.
- Knowledge of electrical schematic diagrams, wiring diagrams and control logic.
- Valid Colorado Class ‘A’ Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Tanker endorsement
- First Aid and CPR Certification
- Willingness to work in high voltages and unusual conditions.
