Student Intern - Polymer Synthesis

Trinseo is seeking a Master Student for a Gap Year in our Synthesis Laboratories for our Latex Binders R&D Center of Excellence in Rheinmünster, Germany. As a Student Intern, you will be responsible for synthesis of dispersions, characterization of colloidal properties, and data recording. You will also have the opportunity to learn lab specific safety procedures, analytical methods, and laboratory operating procedures.

Requirements

• Master student in Chemistry, Polymer / Material Science or Chemical Engineering
• Strong interest in working within research/polymerization laboratories
• Passion and curiosity for polymerization, chemistry and technology
• Initiative and autonomy in carrying out experiments
• Good communication and interpersonal team skills
• Good working knowledge of English
• Good computing skills (Windows / Microsoft Office package)
