Job Description
The Spray Technician is responsible for the safe and accurate application of fertilizers, herbicides, pesticides, and other turf and landscape treatments across the course and practice facility. Qualified candidates will thrive in a hospitality environment and be highly focused on providing superior service to the clubs managed by Troon.
Requirements
- Accurately mix, prepare, and apply chemical solutions
- Safely operate and maintain all spray equipment
- Conduct routine inspections of golf courses, practice areas, and landscaped grounds
- Maintain detailed records of all chemical applications
- Calibrate spray equipment to ensure proper distribution of chemicals
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations related to pesticide application and safety procedures
- Communicate effectively with the Superintendent and team members
- Assist in maintaining the overall health and presentation of the golf course
